Gild is a service provided by Gild Reports Limited (Company No. 17210914), registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the data processor for client data processed through the Gild platform on your behalf.
You can contact us at privacy@gildreports.com.
Website visitors: We collect your name, email address, firm name, and firm size when you submit a form on our website. We also collect first-party engagement analytics (pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, and where you leave a page) to understand interest in our services and improve the site. For general visitors this is aggregate and cookieless (via Vercel Analytics and our own first-party, cookieless measure) and does not identify you individually.
Referred visitors: If a referral partner you have spoken to sends you to our site via a tracked link, we may link the engagement analytics above to you as a named individual, so that we and the partner can understand your interest and follow up appropriately. To do this we store a short-lived token in your browser's session storage (cleared when you close the tab), and we may share engagement insights (for example, which pages you viewed) with the partner who referred you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, explained below.
Booking a demonstration: When you book a call through our website, your booking is processed by Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Cal.com collects your name, email address, and any information you provide during the booking process under their own privacy policy.
Platform users: When you use Gild to generate reports, we process client data provided by your firm's connected systems or uploaded directly. This data is processed solely to generate the documents you request.
We process personal data under the following lawful bases as defined by UK GDPR (Article 6):
Website form submissions are used to respond to your enquiry, arrange demonstrations, and send requested information. We will not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.
Client data processed through the platform is used exclusively to generate the suitability reports and documents you request. It is never used for model training, analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.
All client data processed through the Gild platform is stored and processed within UK-based AWS data centres. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to client data is restricted to authorised systems and personnel only.
This website is hosted on Vercel and may be served from global edge locations. Website form submissions and analytics data do not contain client financial data.
Website enquiry data is retained for 24 months from the date of submission, unless you request earlier deletion.
Client data processed for report generation is not retained beyond the generation session unless your firm opts for document storage through the branded portal. Documents stored on the portal are retained for the duration of your active subscription.
On cancellation, all client data and stored documents are permanently deleted within 30 days. Written confirmation of deletion is provided on request.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@gildreports.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been handled inappropriately. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk.
This website uses only essential cookies required for site functionality, and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our general analytics (Vercel Analytics and our own first-party measure) are cookieless and do not identify individual visitors. One exception: if a referral partner sends you here via a tracked link, we store a short-lived token in your browser's session storage to link your visit to you (cleared when you close the tab); see the Data We Collect and Legal Basis sections above.
For any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, contact Gild Reports Limited at privacy@gildreports.com.
